Lagging & Trace Heating
WWMS specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of lagging and trace heating in the prevention of frost build up, heat loss and noise. We manufacture our own high quality insulated jackets from designs supplied or measurements taken by ourselves. We are capable of manufacturing unique GRP insulation products great for areas that may require frequent maintenance access as the insulation is formed as an integral part of the product. We have designed and installed multiple heat exchanger units to maximise heat loss while reducing size and maintaining a serviceable unit. All our engineers are competently trained to work on dirty water, clean water and SHEA gas sites.

WWMS are competent installers of trace heating tape and control units and can advise on what systems best suit each individual clients needs.
Due to our business structure and the nature of the sector we work in our lead time from receipt of an order to installation start date is usually two weeks or under. WWMS has undertaken work from as little as £50.00 up to projects totalling £100,000. We consider no job too big or too small.
The majority of our work is with utilities companies such as.. Severn Trent, Welsh Water, United Utilities, Thames Water, Northumbrian Water, Yorkshire water. We also have won projects for National Grid Gas, KIER (May Gurney/Biogen AD), AMEY, Costains and many other smaller private businesses.

Pipe fitting and steel fabrication
Although the bulk of our work revolves around lagging and trace heating we also undertake small-medium scale steel fabrications such as pipe step overs, pipe brackets, steel stanchions, crash bollards and mezzanine flooring. We have engineers competent in MIG/MMA AND TIG welding.
WWMS also undertake small to medium scale pipework installations such as glued PVC, fusion welded MDPE, Threaded steel up to 2" and TIG welded Mild or s/s pipework. Our clients find this aspect quite helpful on smaller projects to reduce timescales and organising multiple contractors.
GRP Moulding
WWMS have extensive experience working with fibreglass reinforced plastics. We manufacture small pump covers with insulation moulded inside the product for the water utilities industry as its a great lightweight corrosion resistant product. We also manufacture small kiosks to house control panels etc. We have completed multiple projects in repairing damaged kiosks and have completed multiple flat roof re-fits. We supply flat roofs to industry and domestic clients which come with our 20year guarantee on the integrity of the GRP.
